A Shore Thing on the Eau Claire River

A very complete house with a great view. Enough space for all of our family and well equipped as well. So much fun to have space a fireplace and a comfortable place.

This house was incredible! We had a large group of our family who was in town for the UWEC Blugold Homecoming football game. This house had PLENTY of space for all of us... The house is so pretty and clean. The house is stocked with anything you will need (including a crockpot :) ) Everything was made very simple with the help of the Host Jaci... she is amazing. Sweet welcome basket on arrival, prompt responses when booking, easy access to the house, and lots of communication on all the things we needed. The backyard was awesome as well, the beautiful view from inside, the comfortable deck with table & chairs, and we loved the fire pit down by the beach area... This house was also in perfect location to EVERYTHING. Restaurants, Downtown Eau Claire, UWEC, Carson Park...and we also enjoyed the Big Falls County Park very close as well... I'd say everything you could want is within 20 mins. We will be definitely staying here again!!! Thank you so much A Shore Thing and Local Lodging!

We loved it. Fishing was good right from the beach. The kayaks were fun and the river is not too deep. The house is spectacular and very comfortable! Close location to a tavern for a burger if you don't want to cook.

We came up with our dog to hike and bike. Jaci was spot on with her recommendations for dog friendly trails and activities. The house is amazing so we made sure we were home in the evenings to enjoy the quiet and beautiful view. We loved it and so did our dog. We'll be back soon!

This is our third time staying here! It’s beautiful! Our adult children ran the EC marathon and I enjoyed biking 40+ miles ! Excellent location and property! We will be back again!
